Since its foundation, in 1992, ARMACO is directed towards development, production and trade of finished knitted fabrics, ready to be fabricated, for the fashion industry – Man, Woman and Children. Founded by Manuel Costa, the company received later, as managing partners, Alcino Padrão and Vasco Azevedo. Together they have been strategically developing the entire business which has quality, customer centricity and speed as fundamental vectors.

Our knitwear gives birth to a variety of products for the apparel industry. We believe that what we produce has an actual impact in people’s life and that our clients choose us because they acknowledge the quality of our work. We honour our commitments on time, always innovating.

With an established goal of being present in the different phases of knitted fabrics’ production, ARMACO acquired TROFAMALHA, a company of raw meshes produced in circular weaving machines, present in the market since 1990. Quality work throughout the production line is what differentiates the essence of what we do.

Thanks to several decades of experience, we are considered experts in the supply of raw meshes. The group maintains a close collaboration with companies specialized in the areas of dyeing and finishing.
